PROJECT PORTFOLIO · Browser-based AI
Facial Expression Analysis
A browser-side computer-vision project exploring visible facial expressions in images and video.
Originally presented as Emotion Detection, this project explored classifying visible facial expressions using client-side JavaScript and page-level AI events. The original sample clip shows changes in a person’s expression; it has no classification overlay. Visible expressions do not establish a person’s internal emotional state.

A close-up shows a person with curly hair facing the camera. Their mouth changes from a relaxed position to a smile as they tilt their head, then their lips come together and briefly purse. No classification labels, model boxes or scores are visible in the video. The clip is silent.
